BCCI to grace the Cricket World with their Squad on Monday, but it is not confirmation of attendance

BCCI to grace the Cricket World with their Squad on Monday, but it is not confirmation of attendance
The saga goes on and on, the prelude to this is all quite well known now. The BCCI really upset about having their funds cut and they have been stamping up and down without any shame that they have not entered their squad into the Committee of Administrators (COA) of the ICC Champions Trophy on time. Its starts in just 26 days from today. Obviously this information is used for all sorts of requirements with advertisement, programmes, websites and such like. So to not enter a squad on time, I think is absolute disgrace to the Cricket World I really do. Why should they subject the committee to all this grief and extra work it will obviously cause when the squad is announced. Why?

So they are holding a meeting of the BCCI on Sunday (tomorrow 7th May) when we all thought they would name the squad, but in final act of defiance (well doubt very much it will be the final one) they say they are going to name the Squad on MONDAY 8th May. So very kind.

However a BCCI official adds

“Yes, the team will be selected on Monday as we want to work in tandem with the Committee of Administrators and don’t want to delay the process of team selection. But yes, that doesn’t change our stance as far as withdrawing from the tournament is concerned,” he said.
When asked if that wasn’t a contradictory action if the ultimate decision was to pull out, the official said: “To be fair, announcing the team doesn’t have a bearing on BCCI’s final decision on whether India will play in the tournament or not. The agenda for Sunday’s meeting remains the same.”

Funny that, if it did not have a bearing why the hell didn't they enter the squad on time then? #Donut

EDIT
Meeting held Sunday 7th May BCCI have agreed to participate in the Champions Trophy.
